Day 42: Caffeine Apocalypse

"I feel like that Nazi on Indiana Jones, right before his head melted!"
TJ Henderson from Smart Guy (1997)

We have all has those days when it is darn near impossible to get out of bed. I think I am having one of those weeks. It is not for normal reasons like heat deprivation, depression, anorexia, or lack of sleep... Never!

All I can say is, thank God for caffeine. Without this wonderful drug, yes it is a drug kids, I wouldn't have been able to stay awake in every class today, I would have failed my phonetics test, I wouldn't have been an expressive singer in choir, and I wouldn't have been able to do any studying whatsoever for my two tests tomorrow.

Fortunately my OD of caffeine has made the day possible in this little number which revolves around the dress being worn as a skirt, black leggings from Target, burnt-orange wool socks from my mother's closet, blue UrbanOutfitters loose-fitting T donated by Riley, green hand-knit scarf made by my aunt Suzie, and Forever21 owl necklace.

This picture pretty much shows all of the reasons why I love fall: pumpkins, bike rides, leafs of every color, and sun and rain all in one.

In about an hour I will be feeling like this before going out for a drink with Lauren:
