Day 37: Making the Rounds

"The friend is the man who knows all about you, and still likes you."
~Elbert Hubbard, The Notebook, 1927

Out of the many joys in my life, the number one is and will forever be my friends. I made sure to make the rounds to each of them on this Friday evening because seeing all of their beautiful faces made the day twice as wonderful. Not only did Meghan and I plan the most delicious desert (if you haven't had fried ice cream, DO IT!), for Alec as a congratulations desert for his internship, but I also saw all of my favorite boys that live on Lisa Lane, my closest girl friends at a wine evening at Kyla and Ally's, and spent a wonderful amount of time with Henry talking, walking, and eating quesadillas at 2:30 in the morning. I would say that overall this was a productive day.

Along with classes and my sixth trip to Fred Meyer for the week, I also went to the practice rooms and sang through one of my favorite pieces of all time and it was lovely. I also realized I am not bad a sight reading piano music, weird.

The outfit of the day was one not to be repeated with the dress worn in a new form of sack. I think of it more as a apron or bib or cover-up when breast feeding. I did not need any of those things today so, we will just call this one interesting... I was extremely comfortable the the American Apparel printed tube top underneath donated originally from the closet of Fiona, green cardigan from the men's section of Jcrew, Forever21 blue skinny-jeans, black leather booties from Nordstrom, brown leather belt from Buckle, and hand-knit orange hat made by my aunt Suzie.

As you can tell, the late night picture brought us back to my bedroom and taken with the ever popular, photobooth. I did include my Audrey poster. She is my fall and my life inspiration. Now, to sleep. Saturday awaits.
