Day 35: Sleepless in Seattle

"Good wine needs no bush."
William Shakespeare (1564-1616)
As You Like It, Epilogue.

Every good farewell needs a wine parting party. This is exactly what we gave my sister this evening in Seattle. She is heading off for a year in Thailand to teach the children there the universal language that is our horribly difficult, English. I hadn't seen her since her graduation for George Washington University in June and now I am preparing for my first Christmas of my entire life without her!

I am incredibly proud of the woman she is becoming and will continue to grow into and be for the rest of her life. She is one of the greatest parts of my life and I will miss her and think of her daily. Tomorrow is her 16 hour flight to her new temporary home. Keep her in your hearts for safe travel.

I was preparing for a Christmas photo for the reunion of the three Reclam Ladies for today's outfit of choice. The dress was worn in skirt form with a vintage red shirt tucked in, owl necklace from Forever21, and black Japanese shoes from UrbanOutfitters.

The fall photo includes one of my greatest hobbies of playing piano! I love playing around on
the baby grand at my aunt and uncle's house and make up songs about horses with my cousin Adele (it is okay because she is a child still... )
