Day 36: Pumpkin Carving Party

"I'm sorry, Emily. I had to wait three hundred years for a virgin to light a candle."
Thackery Binx from Hocus Pocus (1993)

A Thursday evening is best spent with good friends, candy, cider, a 90s movie and pumpkin carving. I love that we use every holiday to overeat in one form or another. And tonight, I ODed on sweets. My dentist would not be pleased...

The smörgåsbord board of food that graced our kitchen table included candy corn, chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce, a party mix equipped with pretzel sticks, four cheese crackers, dried mangos, peanuts and peanut butter M&Ms, Oreos, doubled eggs, an assortment of cookies and roasted pumpkin seeds.

Thank you SO much to everyone who came by and made this evening wonderful and put up with my comments throughout Hocus Pocus. I adore you all. Also, much thanks for all the help eating the food.

The casual craving outfit of choice included the dress in true form, old man sweater from GoodWill, turquoise bead necklace, bee earrings from Forever21, and moccasins.

The pumpkins are all ready for next weekend and are anxiously sitting and waiting on our side porch. Now to only complete the costumes...
