"It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them."
--Ernest Hemingway
1. Sleeping in until 11:10am
2. Spending the morning with my favorite woman, Audrey Hepburn, with Breakfast at Tiffany's
3. Taking a bath
4. Going to the grocery store
5. Biking around on a beautiful fall day
6. Getting to wear a hat and scarf again
7. Drinking copious amounts of tea
8. Baking strawberry-rhubarb pie
9. Prepping sandwiches for tomorrow
10. Having family dinner with Alec
11. Fresh smelling clothing
12. Warm sheets
13. Reading for pleasure
14. Fresh flowers
15. Having a clean dress
All of these occurrences were address with ease, minus the pie that is "slightly" burned, in this outfit with the dress in skirt form, a double layer of tights from American Apparel (plum color on the bottom and cream-lace over top), salmon pink racer-back tank-top from Target, black booties from Nordstrom, jean jacket from Gap, purple knit scarf from American Eagle, and knit hat that my aunt Annie made for me.
This picture finally shows my true glamor in taking photographs since I was caught with my eyes shut... Still, a proud homage to the day with my bike, Gandalf the White, the sun, and a peek of my place of education, WWU.
Now to enjoy "Kitten Mac&Cheese" with Alec and burnt strawberry-rhubarb pie.
Sunday's, in the words of the great Whitney Houston, "I will always love you."
