Day 32: Use the Patch!

"I've learned there are three things you don't discuss with people: religion, politics and the Great Pumpkin."
Linus from Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin

Some would say that Sunday's were made for a day of rest. However, I would disagree and say they were a day made for an outing with the family, my new family.

On the 16th of October, Alec and I welcomed to our family five new members, Steve, Philip, Berry, Bertha and Face. Our pumpkin children had a very safe ride back home from the nursery that was the Black Crow Pumpkin Patch. A short 40 minute drive for a perfect month of happiness (well in reality 15 days...)

Another highlight for the family was purchasing possibly the greatest Halloween movie ever made, Hocus Pocus and will be enjoyed during our pumpkin carving party later in the week.

The outing was paired with this outfit with the dress worn as a shirt, red cardigan from Target donated by Riley, blue velvet Equestrian style jacket from Jcrew, green fingerless gloves from UrbanOutfitters, grey scarf from Target, blue skinny jeans from Forever21, Frye boots, and a knit hat from Forever21.

I must confess that the rest of the day will be spent without the dress as it is wash day. But the activities don't go beyond hanging out with my nanny child and rehearsing music for hours on end into the evening.

I hope everyone has an amazing rest of their weekend and that all of the hungover theatre folk rest up and get ready for a beautiful week!
