Day 110: The end of an era.

"Winter must be cold for those with no warm memories... we've already missed the spring!"
Terry McKay in An Affair to Remember (1957)

Winter break is wrapping up and classes begin tomorrow. Today is meant for organizing binders and making my schedule, figuring out where all of my classes are and picking out the first day of class perfect outfit. With that done, I guess it is just a movie day with the function of having a cry fest because it is, the end of an era.

I found out today that after participating in school choir for the last nine years, I must say goodbye (at least until September). But I am taking this as a positive and will let Carry Grant cure my sorrow.

The ensemble for the day includes the dress being worn as a shirt tucked into a vintage skirt with a dark blue Gap cardigan donated by Lauren, Target leather light-brown belt, black knit hat donated by Lauren, black lace Nordstrom booties, new black socks that were a gift from Shawn and another craft, a necklace that was given to me last year that broke and I just fixed.

I look forward to going to see Like Crazy with Alec tonight. Hopefully after all this, I will be ready to face the music empty afternoon tomorrow...
