I am a little slow on the uptake. For a few days now I have been getting emails from various people to watch this "Kony 2012" video. It wasn't until today that I finally watched it. Since everyone and their mother is talking about it, I figured I should educate myself. The 30 minute video discusses Joseph Kony and helps to make him famous, not to celebrate him, but to rise support for his arrest and set a precedent for unternational justice. This video was produce by Invisible Children as a international campaign to help the victims of Kony's actions through the internet community that has been created through multiple means including facebook. I can say that I was one of the millions who were uneducated of this man and the events that have occurred throughout and before my lifetime. For this I can say thank you to this video and the emails and facebook posts that brought me to watching it. I think that this is a rightful cause to support. Unfortunately, like the video states, if this act is not successful, this video and acts on the part of the United States will only cause more issues for the people of Uganda. I don't think their is anyone out there who needs to be told that this is wrong but I think that if you don't know what this is, take the time to watch the video and read up on the events in Uganda. It is a horrible truth and I can only hope that the efforts of individuals involved in the push to arrest Kony are successful.

On a different note, it is Saturday! And I had a beautiful lazy morning. I don't have the show tonight but I do have rehearsal and studying for days. I also plan on watch Pinocchio. I also want to make soup but since I am still in bed, I don't think I will succeed in that goal.
This is what studying for finals looks like.
The dress is worn again in tank top style but this time knotted on the side and paired with an UrbanOutfitters sweater, Target yoga pants, glasses to look and feel smart, socks from Shaun, and the good ole' Birks.
After a coffee break, back to work. Study, rehearse, practice, rehearse, study, movie.
That is my day plan.
