Day 75: The Skin I Live In

"The things the love of a mad man can do."
-Marilla from The Skin I Live In (2011)

So apparently this is the week of movie reviews. We will see how long that goes on because it is dead week and studying should take a priority. Seeing as this is only the second day of the week and I went on a date with Alec today to see a charming little film by Pedro Almodovar at the Pickford with a bunch of elderly, the challenge is still on...

I really enjoyed this film with its interesting twists that even I didn't see coming. Who would have guessed it? Hannah Reclam didn't predict the ending of the movie! Weird... I would recommend it but be prepared for an obscure taste on life. If you know Pedro, you know this movie was not out of the limits of his imagination.

I am also feeling very domestic in today's outfit, hence the kitchen shot with the dress worn as a tank top with a vintage blue patterned skirt found at the GoodWill, black Target tights, vintage saddle shoes from a local store in Olympia, tan three-quarter length cardigan from Target, gold chain necklaces that belong to my mother, flower earrings from India, and turquoise ring.

I also got many compliments on my hair today but I assure you I did not cut it, dye it, or really do anything. I promise. It was just a good hair day I supposed.
