Day 222: Creep.

Dear Lord. Listen to this.
http://gawker.com/5903825/this-cover-of-radioheads-creep-will-make-your-ears-orgasm

That is really all I have to say today...

The dress was worn as a skirt paired with an UrbanOutfitters t-shirt, Gap jean jacket, purple wool Toms, Forever21 sunglasses, and fridge scarf I made from an old mens t-shirt.

Also, I want these shoes in black

Day 221: Beth's...

My main goal of coming to Seattle, besides seeing Kallen, was going to Beth's cafe. And I did.
So. Good.
I had steak and eggs for breakfast, yeah thats right, steak and eggs.
I am feeling very country again today. A country hooker maybe... Go big or go home right?
The dress is worn as a tied tank-top! Something different, yeah! Today it is paired with the shredded jeans, Frye boots, oversized Nordstroms sweater, and key necklace.

Also, look at this gem.

Day 220: Oh Ingrid.

I went to Seattle for the day to go to a concert with Kallen.
The concert, Ingrid Michaelson.
The best song:

Other highlight of the night:
I like to look good when I travel.
Dress is still being worn the same way it has been all week, now paired with the Gap jean jacket, floral UrbanOutfitters scarf and Frye boots.

Today, for dinner, I had Crock and Beer. Good, good night.

Day 219: 4/20

What do I think of today.

This.

Happy National Smoke Weed day. Stay safe friends in the Bellingham area. Do your throats a favor and don't smoke, just go for some vegan edibles. Good for your body, stomach, and mind?

The week from hell should end on a high note (ha! high...) This post is making me sound like a stoner but I was more than pass and pee test. Maybe I will have more inspiration to get dressed in the coming days. Until then...
The dress, a dress again, with a Gap jean jacket, vintage key necklace, and wool purple Toms.

I eat drumsticks at night.

Day 218: Still Cool Enough for Sweaters.

It may be getting sunny out but it is not time to pack away the sweaters yet. I also packes them all away but kept a few out just. in. case.

I am most pleased with this choice.
Today, one was needed.
The dress was again worn most simply with an UrbanOutfitters sweater of the purple color, UrbanOutfitter shoes, and a vintage necklace. The truth is, I am really too lazy to get dressed. All I want is sweat pants and an oversized sweater shirt.

Day 217: Can't Take the Hicksville Out of the Girl.

Can this be my home? I love cows.

Today I call: Simplicity.
The dress is worn plain with a Forever21 blue scarf and Frye boots. Perfect for runnnnnnning all over town. Side note, ze weatha ist gettin' moist noice.

Day 216: Imagine.

I am having a very stressful week. Sorry for the short posts that will be surfacing.
Today the dress is worn as it is most natural paired with a mens Jcrew green cardigan, Frye boots, scarf that was my mothers, and vintage key necklace.

Day 215: Pattern Barf.

Today's inspiration is brought to you by the wonderful, Man Repeller. But let us start at the beginning, her inspiration.

Obviously this is going to be good..

Man Repeller take...

And my turn..
Floral, stripe, polka dot, paisley... I think I covered all the bases.
The dress was worn as a tank-top paired with a grey skirt with striped band donated by Lauren, floral vintage top I got in Spain, paisley scarf that belonged to my mother, and polka dot UrbanOutfitters shoes. Also, I am sporting my new favorite hair style, the top knot! Thank you Ms. Arp.

Day 214: Lily Allen is Always the Answer.

Something I have come to realize over the past few months, Lily Allen has an answer to all of my questions, problems, and concerns. She has a song for everything. You just have to look hard enough. What does this mean, those of you in my life, be ready for constant Gotye, Kimbra, Biggie, and now Lily Allen. Always. All my mixes, they will be there. At least for the next few weeks.

For those of you who know me best, you know the true reasons for dying my hair a week or two back. And tonight, I am calling on the box dye again. Look to yet another change in hair in the next few days. But this is no drastic change so it is a moving on, not to something new, just moving on...
The outfit for my study and work day included the dress being worn as a tank top tucked into grey UrbanOutfitters genie pants, paired with Birkenstocks, a Gap striped zip-up hoodie and jean jacket.

Now I turn to more lonely studying, Lily Allen, and beer until someone joins the study party to make it really fun!

Day 213: I Look Like Kate Gosselin.

This is Conner. He is wonderful.
He is helping me put on my wig cap for our Rent filming day.
And no, I am not showing you my hair and costumes yet. But let me tell you, I look like Kate Gosselin. It is kind of ridiculous. Did we take pictures of me pretending to be drunk and yelling at my eight asian children, yes, yes we did.

The outfit for the sunny filming day included distressed Nordstroms shorts (I think these are becoming my Saturday wear), the dress being worn as a t-shirt under a vintage red top, paired with Birkenstocks, and a cream knit hat. I haven't knit in a while, I should do that some next week. Maybe that will help my moods...

Day 212: Mom Jeans.

I had my Rent costume fitting today and I am wearing mom jeans out the yang! It is ridiculous. But I am really excited and nervous to be dancing around in the many layers... I may die of heat by we will see. Only time will tell. I do feel bad for the cast members wearing four scarfs. It is going to be sweaty on stage. I have talked about sweat a lot in my blog posts lately. Gross.
The outfit for the day was equally mom-ish with a pair of black high waisted long shorts I got last summer before I went to Europe, paired with the dress being worn as  tank top tucked in (hey! you can see the dress today), a grey UrbanOutfitters vest and floral scarf, Target leather brown belt, and purple Toms. I actually looked nice today, weird.

Also, I found this gem on the internet today. You're welcome.

Day 211: Sleeping on Campus, Like a Boss.

I love being "that girl" that sleeps in the Underground Coffee House. I am beginning to embrace it! I need to start bringing a blanket to school with me.
I almost forgot to take a picture today, hence why the boots are off already but today I was dressed in this ensemble. The dress was worn in its natural form paired with a plaid men's shirt from Goodwill, and Nordstroms leather boots on the side. It is almost the weekend. Almost time for me to be acceptably lazy.

Day 210: Happy Sibling Day.

Happy Sibling Appreciation Day!
This is my sister Rachel. I love her dearly.
Chances are, she is mad at me for putting this picture on my blog but I love it too much.
At the Melting Pot in Tacoma.

 At her Graduation ceremony.
If we were cartoons.

I love and miss you greatly Rachel!
I am clearly happy about the day... I think my pants were just on to tight. The dress is again worn under a sweatshirt (me thinks I may be tired of wearing the dress a little bit...), with my green Boundary Bay sweatshirt over it, paired with Forever21 skinny jeans, and Nike vintage high tops. Half way through the week and I am already exhausted.

Day 209: Titanic Set Sail.

It is the 100 year anniversary of the Titanic setting sail! How exciting! I should probably watch the movie or something this week but, I wont. Too long of a movie and I have too much to do.
The outfit for the historic day did not match in scale of awesome. The dress was worn as a tunic tucked into a grey pair of genie pants from UrbanOutfitters, paired with a circle llama sweater of the black color, and Birkenstocks. I am so lazy this week. I am sorry in advance.

Day 208: Outer Space Jam.

It is the beginning of the first full week of the quarter. I now have a full week of class, rehearsal, and now work. Let's see if I make it out alive.
I am already getting lazy with my fashion with the dress being worn as a tank top under an outer space sweatshirt, paired with the oversized boyfriend pants because I didn't learn my lesson the first time, and purple Toms. I really should just get rid of those jeans now. I do not enjoy saggy pants. Not one bit.

Day 207: Hoppy Easter!

Easter Sunday is one of my favorites even though I don't celebrate at all except eating too many hard boiled eggs and too much chocolate (if there is such a thing). My mother also came up to have brunch with Alec and I and brought with her ham sandwiches, a yummy salad, and tort. The best. thing. ever.
Let's see how long Alec and I can make it last.

Later in the evening, I went to Reuben's senior recital. If you missed it, you suck. He did an absolutely beautiful job. Congratulations my friend. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for you.
The outfit for the day included the dress being worn as a skirt with an oversized Nordstroms shirt donated by Riley over it, paired with a Nordstroms coverup, assorted bangles and necklaces, grey Target leggings, and Frye boots.

Day 206: The Hunger Games.

The goal of this beautiful Saturday was to enjoy the day with Henry while reading the Hunger Games and then going to see the movie. I know that enjoy and Hunger Games being in the same sentence from me is weird but, it's there. We read the book, only I finished, we ate the strawberries, Henry had more than me, and we made a delicious dinner after glorious sun time but, we did not see the movie. AndI am not really broken up about it.
Maybe Henry would have finished the book if he hadn't slept through most of the afternoon...
The outfit for the sunny day included no shoes because we never really left the house, the dress worn as a tunic under a patterned UrbanOutfitters tank top, and distressed shorts from Nordstroms.

Day 205: Saggy Pants.

I could not have picked a worse pair of pants to wear today. They are more than to big for me. At work, after taking a few steps, my pants would literally fall to my knees. Really, my goal for today was to look like a character from Prison Break. I was only partially successful.
The dress was worn as a t-shirt under my green Boundary Bay sweatshirt, worn with the stretched out It jeans, purple Toms, and leather jacket.

I am really ready for the weekend. I have got some big plans. Tomorrow... the Hunger Games. Sunday, my bed.

Day 204: Working Girl.

I GOT A JOB! I GOT A JOB! Finally. You are looking at the new night time janitor for the west side of the Viking Union at Western Washington University. I vacuum. I went in for an interview that lasted two minutes. It went a little something like this...
H will be for me and J will be for John.

H- Hi I am Hannah and I am here about the vacuuming position.
J- So you are Hannah. We have heard a lot about you from Steve. You really want to vacuum?
H- Yes, yes I do.
J- Okay, well let's get you over to Kathy to sign some papers.

Done.
The outfit for the interview day looked a lot better in the afternoon than it does right now. This is after my first shift and let me tell you, vacuuming is more work than expected. I actually broke a sweat. Anyways, the dress was worn as a tunic today over a pair of black dress pants from the Gap, paired with a Nordstroms floral cover up, golden-rod circle scarf, and black sneakers with a rubber sole. Perfect to janitor in.
What a successful day.

Day 203: Double Edged Sword.

So serious...

And so silly.
I am not going to go into extensive detail of what made today so great, but things are looking up. Thank you to all the special people in my life that believe in me and support me in my endeavors. So much could not be accomplished without you. The outfit for the day revolved around the dress being worn as a longer skirt with an UrbanOutfitters graphic tank-top tucked into and belted with a yellow Target belt, paired with a black thermal men's cardigan for the sales rack at UrbanOutfitters, green circle scarf, key necklace from a thrift store, gold bangle from my cousin, and Forever21 leather booties.

Day 202: Pulling Off the Unflatterable.

Over the years of developing my sense of fashion (clearly avoiding "fashion sense") I have mastered the art of dressing in clothing that doesn't fit and that holds absolutely no shape while still appearing to have shape and look skinny... It is still a mystery to me. But I pulled it off again today in this outfit that got me many a compliment on weight loss and my curves. Maybe this is all a backwards slide to tell me, "Hey! Go to the gym and wear a belt around your waist. We want to see you woman!" But I don't think so. The dress was worn with an UrbanOutfitters patterned tank top over, paired with brown tights donated by Leah, Jcrew men's green cardigan, leather jacket, blue circle scarf, Frye boots, and Paris inspired earrings.

Day 201: Blond Has More Fun.

Sometimes I decide to be witty. You see what I did there with the title... "Blond". A perfect combination of Bond (as in Bond, James Bond) and blonde for as you can now see, I am very blonde. Today, I feel like a master of disguise. Not only is my hair significantly different, I am dressed in over sized It pants, a school spirited sweatshirt, and purple vest donated by Leah which makes me want to head to the Bronx, the dress is hidden as a tank-top under it all, and white Keds to add to my ever so great thug side. Unfortunately, I am about as recognizable as Sean Connery and Daniel Craig. Does this also mean I am equally do-able? Nope, false. There is nothing attractive about saggy-ass pants.

Day 200: April Fool's Day!

"He is hot, in a homeless man kind of way."
-Lauren Tate Halvorson
No joking about it. What an excellent afternoon with one of my favorite women. Highlights not only include this quote but crazy nail painting, oatmeal-gasms, piercing consulting, pizza and a free grommet salad at Avenue Bread, earrings, and ice cream. As if that didn't make today the best ever, I also spent the evening with my love, Conner. We dyed my hair blonde (will notice that tomorrow in photo form), watched Waitress, and made the best potato salad. Well, he did.
Glorious April. I welcome thee.
The outfit of the day started with laziness, taking my nightgown out for a spin which is a blue Jcrew shapeless dress from 4 years ago with the dress tyed as a tanktop over it, paired with a Target light-brown cardigan, leather jacket, scarf I made from a shirt, Target long socks (take two), and Forever21 leather booties. Oh and the sunglasses are form GoodWill and Alec's Any Warhol costume.

Day 199: A Fool's Paradise.

Saturdays are going to be my favorite days this quarter. I can sleep in as late as I want and know that I have all day tomorrow to be productive. I did get a lot done today though! I practiced music, get the oil changed in the car, got the car some gas, screamed at some people while driving on Meridian, and went with Henry to Seattle to see a play at the Rep. A Fool's Paradise. It was quite excellent and I now have two more loves. Kevin Fling and Simone Perrin. Look them up, they are great. Hopefully Mr. Kling will answer my email... I will keep you posted.
The outfit for the trip to Seattle included the dress being belted again by a braided leather Target belt, paired with a green men's cardigan from Jcrew (one of the buttons cracked today), Target long socks that are actually striped but you can't tell, and Frye boots.

Day 198: Flattering Friday.

I am not having the best of days. But those happen. I am lucky to have so many beautiful people to surround myself with. The best advice I was given today came from my dearest Eli, "if Britney can survive 2007, you can survive today." You are a gem sir. Thank you for the evening. My blah day was matched by this super blah outfit with the dress being worn as a tank top under a grey sweatshirt I bought years ago, paired with a floral patterned Lucky hoodie, leather jacket, grey Gap pants donated by Lauren, Nike high-top sneakers, and blue circle scarf. TGIF.

Day 197: At Home at the Zoo.

I will say it again but, I go to school with many a talented individuals. It is always fun to go see them in shows especially when they are student run productions. Even when there are mini flaws, it is so impressive to see what my fellow students can accomplish.
My hair is doing special things today. I will say that it is on account of the rain. The dress was worn with a braided leather Target belt, Target black leggings, Target red cardigan donated by Riley, Nordstroms leather boots (that are falling apart), and daily accessories.
