Day 1 part Deux: An Evening in Paris

"America is my country and Paris is my hometown."
Gertrude Stein

A typical Thursday evening with my dearest friend, Alec, in which we dressed up to go out to an event in downtown Bellingham only to stay for five minutes due to the lack of free food and beverage and that we were the only attendees who will not be needing adult diapers in the next five years (knock on wood). Our matching ensemble was still a success as we spent the evening cooking and spending time with friends.

This look was accomplish with a red cardigan from Target donated by Lauren, a brown belt from my Grandmother's closet, a chain necklace from Nordstrom, leather bag from my friend Leah, and saddle shoes (or as Alec would refer to them as my "bowling shoes") from a vintage shop in Olympia, WA.

  1. Adorable shoes! I'm so impressed how you turned that little black dress into something so simple and stunning! Keep on inspiring, Hannah! :D
